
As Deputy General Counsel for the Center for Legal Affairs at the California Medical Association (CMA), Alicia F. Wagnon focuses on the Association’s activities in the courts and regulatory agencies at the state and federal levels on issues of medical professional liability, medical ethics and end-of-life care. Ms. Wagnon works with outside counsel, physician members and other stakeholders to participate in litigated cases and to shape policy that impacts physician interests in these areas.
As Director of Corporate Affairs, Ms. Wagnon manages the contracts entered into by the Association and oversees protection of CMA’s copyright, trademark and licensing rights.
Ms. Wagnon also handles corporate governance issues, policies and procedures, and compliance.
